Care Instructions of Clothing

Everyone always asks, “How long does the print or embroidery last on a shirt?” The truth is, the print and the embroidery will far outlast the shirt. If you take care to wash and dry your garments in cool water and cool air, your fabric will not break down as fast. Every time you pull the lint trap out of your dryer, the lint you see is the fibers from your clothing. Your t-shirts, polos and button down shirts will last twice as long if you avoid the heat of the dryer. Ball caps and hats should be washed in the top rack of your dishwasher and laid out to dry. You will avoid shrinkage and fading if you stay away from the hot water and wash in cool to luke warm water. Also, avoid dry cleaning on some of today’s top brands that have 100%polyester because the chemicals don’t mix well with the new fabrics. Following all of these instructions will also ensure less puckering/buckling around your logo.
